 Alison is a qualified Building Designer with a Diploma in Building Design and a Diploma in Interior Design. Over the past five years, she has worked closely with Scott and their clients to design new homes, renovations, and thoughtful additions.

Her love for the building industry has grown from hands-on experience, including the design and renovation of three of their own homes. This passion, paired with her evolving role within SMC, naturally led to the creation of ASM Design Construct — a business built on the seamless integration of design and construction.

Alison brings a considered approach to every project, listening closely to each client’s vision and needs. She creates site-responsive designs that are both functional and beautiful, with a strong focus on passive design principles to enhance comfort and energy efficiency.

With over 20 years of experience in the residential building industry, Scott brings extensive knowledge, craftsmanship, and a passion for delivering high-quality results to every project. He is committed to exceeding client expectations, ensuring that each build is completed with care, precision, and pride.

Scott is known for his innovative thinking, problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail — all essential traits that set his work apart. He takes particular interest in incorporating recycled and sustainable materials, creating durable, environmentally-conscious homes that stand the test of time.

As the hands-on builder behind ASM Design Construct, Scott works closely with Alison and their clients to turn thoughtful designs into beautifully built spaces.

ASM has a team of carpenters and trusted trades that are reliable, friendly and will deliver great service. 

Josh joined ASM mid 2023. Josh is trained in all areas residential building and brings his own vision and skillset to the team. Josh enjoys spearfishing and camping. 

Adam joined ASM mid 2024. As our newest carpenter to the team Adam is our tallest member in the team at 6.4ft. Adam is currently completing his certificate 4 in building. Adam is an avid sports player in AFL and Netball which he has represented NSW in 2024. We look forward to seeing what he brings to our team.

Liam is completing his apprenticeship, currently in his 3rdd year. Liam is a keen learner and undertakes any task without issues. Liam enjoys water polo in his spare time.
